MY JOURNEY
Working at home is something I always wanted to do but thought it was out of reach, other than day care, which is what I did when I had 4 kids at home. Then when my youngest daughter was starting kindergarten and I only had one child to send to daycare, my son, off to work force I went. That first year my paycheck went to daycare but it was nice to get a regular paycheck and not have to take care of other peoples kids, which I did love all kids but I hated going from loving these kids to dealing with parents who complained about the rates, and mine were CHEAP. That was 17 1/2 years ago.
Now, fast forward to today's economy and job market. I have loved my job for most of my 17 years that I have been there, but things are changing. The face of the company I work for has changed. Many people have been let go and have been replaced by temps. That concern looms over everyone's heads,(will I be next?) I dread the thought of going to work. I don't enjoy it anymore.
This begins my journey. I know people make a living working from home. I have the mindset that if someone else can do it so can I. So I have decided to search for a way for me to make at least the same living working from home, Hopefully a better living. So I decided while searching for this I would write a blog about what I discover, I know others are in the same situations.
As you read my blog you will not only get updates on my search for work at home opportunities, but you will also get updates on my children and grandchildren and all of my wonderful and amazing family. Most importantly you will hear about my wonderful and amazing God Who without him I can do nothing!! I give Him all the glory!
CRAZINESS!~!! I have not been on here in a few days. THis is a picture of my mom and 2 aunts and me, my sister and 2 of my cousins. I have been researching work at home in what little spare time I have, work has been tough and busy. I so badly want to work at home!!! Tired of working all the hours and not have time for myself and helping make someone else rich while I stay poor. I think I found something interesting for a work at home job but I am going to wait to see how it turns out before I say what it is. I did introduce this to two of my sisters so it wont just be my report around my crazy schedule but also their reports. They are stay at home moms so they may be more accurate.
Anyway, I also have been getting involved slowly but surely in Melaleuca. I don't know how that will work but I am giving it a try. I love the products and I discovered that Melamagic kills ants, YAY! I have a class for that scheduled for Saturday.
I contacted a former coworker that I used to go to church with to ask for prayer about my job and work at home situation. She was let go in the beginning of layoffs so she started a housekeeping service that she is loving and doing very well with. She said she has too many houses and might refer me if something happens at work and I need something. When I was replying to one of her messages I accidently hit the wrong thing ansd it took me to CBN prayer request page on finances so I think God sent me there. Keep me in your prayers and i will keep you informed. ~
